Fifteen firefighters mobilized to extinguish a vehicle fire attached to a garage in the city center of Caen

A fire broke out on a vehicle attached to a garage on Friday October 18, 2024 in the city center of Caen (Calvados). Fifteen firefighters were mobilized to put out the fire.

A fire broke out on a vehicle attached to a garage on rue Henri-Brunet, in the city center of Caen (Calvados), Friday October 18, 2024. Fifteen firefighters from the Caen Couvrechef and Ifs emergency centers intervened at the scene of the incident, in particular by means of two fire-fighting vehicles.

Fire extinguished with a lance

Firefighters managed to put out the fire using a hose. The police were also present on site. No injuries were mentioned by the emergency services in their intervention report.
