For the day of Friday, Weather France places the departments of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Landes, Gard, Bouches-du-Rhône and Puy-de-Dôme on orange flood alert.

The entire Atlantic coast is on yellow wave-submersion alert. Furthermore, dozens of departments are maintained at this alert level for rain-flooding on both sides of France.
