Last night, La Balme-de-Sillingy was the scene of a spectacular fire. No fewer than six utility vehicles were reduced to ashes in an industrial parking lot. Thanks to rapid intervention by firefighters, the situation was brought under control without causing any injuries or affecting surrounding buildings. An investigation is now open to determine the origin of this disaster.

Vehicles on fire in the industrial zone
On the night of October 18, shortly after midnight, a fire broke out in the parking lot of a garage located in the industrial zone of La Balme-de-Sillingy, in Haute-Savoie. A total of six utility vehicles were reduced to ashes, causing thick smoke visible from several kilometers around.

Rapid emergency intervention
Firefighters, immediately alerted, quickly deployed significant resources to bring the fire under control. Thanks to their effective intervention, the spread of the flames was stopped in time. Note that no buildings were damaged in the surrounding area. Fortunately, no injuries were reported following this incident.
