“Ah yes, it’s true, there is that!” Victor Meutelet (Samuel) recounts the filming of his very naked scene in the episode broadcast this Thursday, October 17, 2024

The detective series Master Crimes is back this Thursday, October 17 at 9:10 p.m. on TF1 with a second season in line with the first, which was a great success: effective, entertaining and funny. For the duo Louise Arbus (Muriel Robin) / Barbara Delandre (Anne Le Nen), this new burst of six new episodes will prove to be particularly eventful, on the front of investigations as well as on that of personal life. And for one of the brilliant criminologist’s students, this first evening will be, in a word, lively…

Master Crimes : The first episode of the evening has a very “bare” surprise in store for you!

ATTENTION SPOILERS ! In “No Body’s perfect”the first episode of the evening, Louise Arbus and Captain Barbara Delandre investigate the death of a man, who served as a model in a therapeutic painting group. The victim was found tied up, in the middle of the workshop and in a particularly elaborate setting. To discover the culprit, Arbus, never short of surprising ideas, suggests that one of his students, undercover, pose as a model. The unfortunate chosen one is called Samuel, played by the actor Victor Meutelet (previously seen in the excellent miniseries The LieIn The Charity Bazaar or even Grand Hotel). And so it is as naked as a worm that the latter will lend himself to a painting session…

Master Crimes : “Ah yes, it’s true, there is that!”Victor Meutelet (Samuel) talks about his very naked scene in the episode of this Thursday, October 17

Filming a nude scene is, a priori, not trivial. It is for this reason, and for others, that Télé-Loisirs spoke with Victor Meutelet. But the actor, particularly fine and brilliant, was not destabilized by this sequence, including when he received the script for the episode in question: “Whatever the scene, I wonder how to bring as much truth to it as possible. On the first reading, I don’t see the particular filming conditions that there could be. It’s more on the second reading that I tell me “Ah yes it’s true, there is that!” But on Master Crimes, we are lucky to have a director, Marwen Abdullahof rare elegance and class. Before the actor even has time to ask the question, or possibly to worry, which wasn’t even my case, he calls us to find out how we feel, what we can do, what ‘we can’t do and what he has in mind. This way, it defuses any possible concerns before they can grow in our heads.”.

A smooth shoot for this actor with a full head: “I find certain scenes of extreme anger, with very strong emotions, much more intimidating, because more personal than simple plastic nudity. In addition, when we pose naked in this way, it is in the service of art, this is not linked to sexuality or desire. We are really purely in the plastic and the physical relationship with the body. It’s really another approach, and I approached this scene like this. There was no real problem filming it.” A healthy and thoughtful approach for a scene to discover in the first episode of Master Crimes broadcast this Thursday, October 17 at 9:05 p.m. on TF1.
