They were welcomed there by President Emmanuel Macron and his wife. This outing is part of the state visit of the Belgian royal couple to France, which began this Monday, October 14.
The royal couple notably visited the exhibition dedicated to Louise Marie d’Orléans, French princess, daughter of the King of France Louis-Philippe who became the first Queen of the Belgians through her marriage, in 1832, to the King of the Belgians Leopold I.
The President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron welcomed the royal couple. The guided tour of the exhibition was provided by Mathieu Deldicque, chief curator of heritage, director of the Condé museum. Also present was former minister Xavier Darcos, currently chancellor of the Institut de France, which manages the assets of the Domaine de Chantilly.
