Liam Payne, former member of boy band One Direction, died on Wednesday at the age of 31 after falling from a hotel in Buenos Aires. Liam Payne was, along with Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles, one of the members of One Direction, a group formed in 2010 and which enjoyed dazzling success.
But his first appearance on television dates from two years earlier, in 2008. At the age of 14, he participated in the television show “The X Factor”. Facing jurors Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh, Liam Payne impressed by covering the song Fly me to the Moon by Franck Sinatra a capella.

Two years later, he tried the adventure again. And the rest, we know it. Rather than continuing the competition alone, the young artist is associated with Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles. Together, they finished in third place in this season 7 of “The X Factor”. The group “One Direction” was born.
