Still at the center of debates, mobility and its cost are once again making Parisian news. In question, the very probable increase in the Navigo pass dated January 2025. According to forecasts of inflation of nearly 2% for 2025, Île de France Mobilitésaccording to the calculation formula in force, should then bring the price of the Navigo pass to €88.80 per monthi.e. €2.20 more than current prices.
Towards a further increase in the price of the Navigo pass in 2025
After the heavy increase in the Navigo pass in 2023 (going from €75.20 to €84.10), then that of €2.30 put into effect in 2024, Île de France Mobilités may well continue the same path for 2025 with a new price increase. And if the official price will not be voted on until 2025, we can already make projections on the future cost of the monthly pass, thanks in particular to the financial agreement concluded by Valérie Pécresse and the government last year. Thus, the monthly Navigo pass should increase by €2.20 next year and be billed €88.80.
This increase therefore supports the series of new measures already announced previously. For example, Île de France Mobilités announced in September the establishment of a single price of €2.50 for the metro ticketregardless of the distance traveled. Regarding the Liberty pass +the €1.73 journey will increase to €1.99 for metro, RER and train travel, and €1.60 for buses and trams. Another change, the airport tickets bringing together the different means of getting to Orly or Roissy will now cost €13 as a single price. Finally, the last change will concern the Navigo Jour, which will increase to €12 compared to €20.60 today. However, this package will not allow you to reach Paris airports.
