Big accident on the A9 motorway, between Riddes and Conthey

Six vehicles collided, according to a press release from the Valais police. The A9 motorway is closed and emergency services are on alert.

A large accident took place on Tuesday around 7:30 a.m., on a section of the A9 motorway, between Conthey and Riddes, in Valais.

Six vehicles are involved in a large pileup. The highway is currently closed, says the Valais police.

Major disruptions are predicted and their duration is indefinite.
