51 martyrs and 174 injured following yesterday’s Israeli aggression

Beirut, October 13, 2027, WAFA – The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that the death toll from Israeli attacks which targeted several areas of the country yesterday (Saturday) amounted to 51 martyrs and 174 wounded, in the context of the continuation of Israeli military operations since the beginning of October.

The ministry explained in a statement that the total number of victims since the start of the Israeli aggression against Lebanon on October 8, 2023, reached 2,306 martyrs and 10,698 wounded.

Which reflects the scale of the humanitarian catastrophe that the country is experiencing following this aggression.

Continued Israeli raids on many Lebanese areas have led to widespread destruction of infrastructure and direct targeting of civilians, resulting in large numbers of martyrs and injuries.

Since the start of military operations, the southern regions of Lebanon have been under intense bombardment, which has resulted in the displacement of thousands of families and the demolition of numerous houses and civilian installations.

Lebanon is experiencing an unprecedented escalation of air and artillery strikes targeting residential and civilian areas. According to medical reports, many of the injured are suffering from serious injuries and there is a shortage of medical supplies in hospitals which are operating at maximum capacity to accommodate the large number of injured.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health stressed in its statements the need to intensify humanitarian and medical support to Lebanon, noting that the situation is worsening with the continuation of military operations.

He called on the international community to intervene immediately to stop the attacks and provide necessary assistance to the injured and displaced.
