His list thus obtains 8 seats out of 13, which gives the mayor an absolute majority to manage Lincent for the next six years. And that was his goal. The two other lists, those of Pierre Alexandre Noupré (MR Pour l’Avenir) and Jacqueline Bauduin (En Avant) share the remaining seats: 3 go to the purse of the first named, 2 to the side of the En Avant list.
“We blame the blow. I don’t really know what happenedadmitted Pierre-Alexandre Noupré. We will have to analyze all this with a clear head. Now you have to look at the positive side of things, that we went from one seat to three, but I was hoping for more than that. We also see that the mayor did not lose many votes. No doubt we were not present enough on the ground. Finally, with the En Avant list, we can form a constructive opposition.”
Speaking of construction, the outgoing mayor will be able to count on Éric Vandevelde (406 votes preferred), Renée Dardenne (304 votes) and Étienne Daloze (270 votes) to compose the college. The outgoing mayor provided proof that an opening list, made up in particular of councilors who were previously in opposition, well, it works.
