Here is everything you need to remember from the sixth day of Proligue, which took place this Friday October 11 and Saturday October 12, 2024.
The fact of the weekend: Dijon brings down Frontignan
Dijon and Frontignan, two of the three undefeated teams this season (with Sélestat), before this weekend, faced each other for a shock at the top. Leader of Proligue, with four successes in four matches, Frontignan quickly took control in Dijon, before being joined (21-21, 39′). The Dijonnais then took the lead and widened a small gap (33-31, 56′ then 36-31, 58′), enough to bring down leader Frontignan (37-33) and take his seat.

Rising
After a delicate start to the championship, Crown finally seems to be launched. A week after its draw at Sélestat (28-28), the Puy-de-Dôme club signed its first victory on Friday, against Massy (30-28).
Valter Soares, former Caen HB player now at Cournon, made his contribution with 4 goals (on 5 shots) and two good interceptions.
Declining
Exempt last week, Besançon lost to Cherbourg this weekend (31-27) and suffered a fourth defeat in a row. Its only victory of the season dates from the first day, against the red lantern Angers. Doubs players are struggling to start their season and are stuck at the bottom of the rankings.

If Saran lost in the end by a small goal against Sélestat (27-28), the evening then continued in music with a showcase by Big Flo and Oli.
The sentence
Pontault Combault scored its first victory of the season at home on Friday against Angers (34-31).
