France Football, the body which organizes the Ballon d’Or ceremony, has decided to make a change in the programming of the event.
Previously, the institution informed the winner of the trophy before the day of the ceremony.
Also, an interview is organized with him and the interview is broadcast just after the ceremony.
For this year, France Football has decided to proceed differently regarding the organization of the interview with the winner.
According to Spanish media, the French magazine no longer intends to organize the interview with the winner before the ceremony, but rather after.
In other words, the one who will be crowned as the 2024 Ballon d’Or should not know in advance that he is the lucky one.
Just like the spectators, the winner will only know when the evening’s presenters call their name during the ceremony.
A way for France Football magazine to always keep the suspense until the last minute and avoid information leaks.
Even if all the newspapers agree on the fact that it is the Brazilian, Vinicius Jr, who will win the trophy, there is so far no official information on this subject.
As a reminder, the 2024 Ballon d’Or trophy will be awarded on October 28 in Paris at the Théâtre de Châtelet.
