Saint-Orens-de-Gameville. A day to grow together

The city is offering the first edition of Early Childhood and Parenthood Day, Saturday October 12 at Château Catala, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This day goes well beyond a simple festive event: it symbolizes a concrete commitment to childhood and parenthood. By affirming its desire to support younger generations in their development, the municipality is part of a sustainable approach. In accordance with the objectives of the Comprehensive Territorial Convention (CTG), this initiative also aims to strengthen dialogue between families, local stakeholders and early childhood professionals.

Rich program

The program for this day promises to be both rich and diverse, offering activities for all ages. The Danger Hunt will allow children aged 3 to 10 to become aware of everyday risks, they will learn the right reflexes to adopt in their immediate environment. For their part, parents will be able to rediscover their daily life from the point of view of a 2-year-old child thanks to The Giant House. This immersive experience aims to educate parents about household risks while providing them with a new and fun perspective. Younger children will also have the opportunity to participate in awareness workshops which will address subjects such as sustainable development, zero waste and biodiversity. A family show will be offered by Relais Petite Enfance, bringing a touch of entertainment and creativity to the day. Finally, so that this moment is also a gourmet and friendly break, the parent-teacher associations will run a catering stand. This event is made possible thanks to the mobilization of local actors such as the associations SONE, ALISO, Amicale Laïque, the Baby Coccinelle micro-crèche, as well as city services: media library, ATSEM of nursery schools, multi -reception, Space for All, Early Childhood Relay (RPE), Child-Parent reception center (LAEP). This synergy between partners and institutions demonstrates the importance of territorial cooperation to build a more united society attentive to the needs of young people.
