A day of miniature trains – Ingré (45140)

Volunteers from the MRTMI association (Modèle Réduit Trains Miniatures d’Ingré) presented two circuits created by them during their special day.

The MRTMI association (Ingré miniature train model) opened its doors for a special day dedicated to miniature train enthusiasts. Founded in 2008 by Gérard Borlini, a former train driver, the association presented two circuits carried out by its members.

The first circuit, a traditional network five meters long, represents an imaginary world with careful decorations. The second, a six-meter digital sound network, evokes the four seasons with changing landscapes and immersive soundscapes, offering an interactive experience.

The event also hosted an exhibition of railway photographs by Marc Metzinger, as well as a miniature of the old Villeneuve station, allowing visitors to rediscover an emblematic local heritage.

This day attracted between 350 and 400 visitors, delighted to discover the exhibition. Including Christian Dumas, mayor of Ingré, and Jean-Pierre Gabelle, departmental councilor and deputy mayor of Orléans. Numerous messages of thanks and congratulations were left in the guestbook, testifying to the success of the event and the association’s commitment to model railways.
