Yvelines placed on orange alert for rain and flooding

This is due to the passage of ex-Hurricane Kirk, downgraded to a storm. Météo France forecasts significant rainfall in the region, with accumulations of 40 to 70 mm, or even 80 mm locally. Strong winds, reaching 40 km/h, are also expected. The authorities recommend not taking submerged roads and remaining cautious of the risk of flooding and falling trees. Tomorrow, a calm is expected with clearings in the morning, but thunderstorms could appear again in the evening.
