What is IAMSTRONG?

Founded by Erika Seydoux and Anne-Claire de Pracomtal, IAMSTRONG is a coaching platform that combines different methods in psychology and coaching, certified and recognized by a scientific committee composed of psychologists, psychiatrists and school directors.

From three yearspsychological disorders among adolescents and young adults have experienced an increase explosionhowever, the means to respond to them remain insufficient. IAMSTRONG seeks to fill this gap by offering a fast assistance and personalized to young people through an easy-to-access online interface.

One of the main objectives of IAMSTRONG is to reduce the stigmatization associated with mental disorders. Despite awareness efforts over the past decades, many young people are still hesitant to seek help, for fear of judgment or rejection. This stigma is a major obstacle to access to careand IAMSTRONG intends to remedy this.

IAMSTRONG commits to World Mental Health Day

According to a report from the Court of Auditors published in March 2024, 35% of psychological pathologies appear before the age of 14, a figure which rises to 48% before age 18 and to 62% before age 25. Furthermore, a 2021 IPSOS study indicated that 1 in 3 young people under 25 years of age is faced with a mental health problem, while 1 out of 5 declares having experienced a depressive episode.

On October 10, on the occasion of World Mental Health DayIAMSTRONG will deploy a series of initiatives to help young people better understand and manage their mental health.

One of the main measures is the establishment of a free helpline au 06.73.38.52.49available throughout this day. This line will be run by psychologists, certified coaches and mental health first aiders. At the same time, IAMSTRONG will organize free webinars and interactive workshops. These events aim to educate young people and their families on mental health issues, while providing them with concrete tools to reduce stress and strengthen their resilience. Social media will also play an important role in this campaign, with awareness actions aimed at breaking down prejudices and encouraging open discussions around mental disorders.

The World Mental Health Dayis the perfect opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of taking care of yourself and seeking help when you need it.
