A traffic accident occurred on Wednesday October 9, 2024) in The Arrow (Sarthe). A car crashed against another which was parked.

The driver, a man, is being taken care of by the firefighters of La Flèche.

Accident: “the car slipped and hit the one that was parked”

The collision took place shortly after 10:30 a.m., rue de Ceinture, at the narrowing, shortly before the intersection with rue des Plantes.

According to the first elements, it is a loss of control.

” I saw the car slide and hit the one that was parked. It hit hard,” reports a local resident who witnessed the scene.

Aquaplaning or discomfort?

“I had the impression that the car was accelerating,” says one other witness of the accident.

It could be a hydroplaning but a witness speaks of discomfort.

Interrupted traffic

Traffic is interrupted rue de Ceinture between rue de la Paix and rue des Plantes, time for the emergency services to finish their intervention and for the wreckers to tow the vehicles.
