What is this utility vehicle completely covered in graffiti doing in the white waters of ?

Did he go off the road or was he swept away by a flood from the Tarn? Explanations.

Surprising. For a few days, passing through La Maladrerie, in , the discovery is somewhat… Surprising. The whitewater stadium no longer seems to only accommodate kayaks, but also cars. More of a utility type car, submerged, completely covered in graffiti.

An Aveyron collective at the origin of graffiti

A leftover from the Natural Games? No, neither for the vehicle, nor for the graffiti. These are signed Aeroson12, name of the Aveyron association bringing together “local children, passionate and active for more than 15 years in the region”and make the vehicle a true work of art. And the collective applies itself to “transmitting graffiti culture in all its forms”.

In addition to the signature, other reasons are of interest. Starting with the one on the roof of the submerged vehicle, “Aveyron firefighters”, or the one on the right side, “SDIS 12” (Departmental fire and rescue service, Editor’s note).

A training vehicle for firefighters

Contacted, the communications service of the SDIS of Aveyron explains. “This is a training car for aquatic teams.” Regularly, in fact, firefighters from the department or even from Hérault come to Millau to practice rescue work.

For the occasion, the vehicle is installed in the whitewater stadium. It will therefore not be impossible to find the vehicle in its off-road position later in the season. But “nothing alarming”indicates the communication service of the departmental SDIS. Just a little…confusing.
