This Tuesday, October 8, the Thouars gendarmes intervened in three different accidents. The first, at 11:20 a.m., took place in the town of Loretz-d’Argenton, at a place called Les Tricheries, on the road leading to Thouars. A 35-year-old woman bit the shoulder before ending up in the ditch. Her vehicle was damaged, but the driver was not injured.
A little later, around 12:25 p.m., the gendarmes intervened for an accident involving several vehicles, in Luzay, on the D938Ter which links Thouars to Bressuire. The event occurred at the crossroads which leads to Rigné. A vehicle attempted to overtake another at the intersection. He did not then see that another vehicle was in front of the one he tried to overtake except that the car in front turned left. As a result, the latter and the one who wanted to overtake collided. But again the accident did not cause any injuries.
Finally, at 4:30 p.m., a woman born in 2005 bit the right side of the road before ending up on the roof, in Val-en-Vignes. She was transported to the Faye-l’Abbesse hospital center for minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved.
