Case IH renews its Farmall C tractor

Gradually, the design of high-power Case IH models is moving down to lower range tractors. In addition to the aesthetic aspect, it is also the equipment and technology that they integrate. The latest to benefit from it, the Farmall C mixed crop-livestock tractor en transmission ActiveDrive 2.

The tractor is available in 4 models ranging from 90 to 117 ch and incorporates a 3.6 l 4-cylinder FPT engine. He now receives l’ActiveClutchautomatic activation of the clutch when pressing the brakes.

It also has a new reinforced front axle 1.5 HDequipped with larger cylinders. The permissible load is 500 kg more than its predecessor and the GVW is increased up to 7 t.

The lifting capacity increased to 4.7 t (1.6 t at the front) and the hydraulic pump can deliver up to 82 l/min optional. Two side distributors are possible to supply, for example, a front loader.

Cabin and technology

In terms of comfort, the Farmall C receives a new mechanical cabin suspension optional. Still optional, the steering ratio (ASC) reduces lock-to-lock steering wheel turns.

L’Isobus class II is available for the integration of all Isobus tools into the in-cab screen. There telematicsoptional, includes access to Case IH FieldOps by computer or by application. For autoguidance and telemetry functions, the AFS 1200 screen is proposed.

Concerning orders, a new hydraulic joystick appears for front loader management. With one hand, it is possible to control:

• inverter control;
• the third hydraulic function;
• an engine speed memory;
• gear change under load.

Finally, new tire fitting is possible up to 38 inches. The first deliveries of the tractor are expected at the end of the year.
