After their great success last weekend against OGC Nice (7-1), Sarah M’Barek’s players travel to Rodez for the 4th day of the Second League. Faced with an opponent looking for points (three defeats in three days), the Sang et Or started the match with determination. From the 3rd minute of play, Racing went on the counter through Dayana Pierre Louis who attempted a shot. This is deflected but Alizée Méreau, attentive, concludes (0-1). A few moments later, Fany Proniez found Louann Archier on a cross. The attacker takes a header and propels the ball into the back of the net for the second goal (0-2, 7′)! Engaging, the Lensoises push Rodez into error. Emma Smaali transforms the penalty and Racing takes off (0-3, 13′)! The visitors are not to be outdone and are increasing their efforts. They get a free kick, taken by Fany Proniez then taken by Alizée Méreau… And 4 (4-0, 19′)!
The Artésiennes took control of this first act by scoring four goals and returned to the locker room with an obvious lead and efficiency (0-4).
Another period, another face. The Sang et Or suffered and were unable to get the ball out. Revengeful, Rodez AF created more chances and scored in the 68th minute of play then in stoppage time (90’+4).
