Carpentras won the golden point on the Lescure lawn 22-23 this Sunday afternoon, during the first day of Elite 2.
The Vauclusiens entered the match perfectly and quickly scored twice through Thomas Isabel and Joris Roussillat. RCCC XIII misses both transformations and leaves 4 points on the way. Lescure fights back and scores a first converted try in the twentieth minute.
Nathanael Joubert gives Carpentras some fresh air while Timothé Cattier undergoes the transformation. But just before the break, Lescure got back on track with his second try, 10-14.

Returning from the locker room, the Minotaurs took the score for the first time thanks to a converted try. But Carpentras is in his match and scores again thanks to Jeremy Juste. It’s transformed, 16-20.
10 minutes from time, Lescure thought he would score a decisive try but the visitors came back three minutes from time on a penalty, 22 all. RCCC XIII finally won the golden point on a drop from Arthur Budzeszewki (22-23) while Lescure would have to settle for the bonus point.
