Two men died in a fire in an apartment in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges on Saturday evening, we learned from the Vosges firefighters on Sunday.

The fire, the origin of which is not known, broke out around 7:30 p.m. on the third floor of a building which has four floors, indicated the Departmental Fire and Rescue Operations Center (Codis ). The two victims were aged 59 and 49.

Two other people hospitalized

Two people, a 41-year-old woman and a 14-year-old boy, were taken to hospital after suffering from smoke inhalation. A firefighter was also slightly injured. The disaster led to the evacuation of 19 people. An investigation to determine the origin of the fire was entrusted to the police.
