Caussade. Murielle Magellan, for a third time!

the essential
Cinema, theater, television, literature, everything is good for Murielle Magellan to express her multiple talents as a writer, director, director, songwriter.

In June 2016, the literary meetings organized by Nathalie Couderc of the Maison de la presse de Caussade had already welcomed Murielle Magellan at the same time as Virginie Carton, Baptiste Beaulieu and Xavier de Moulins, after having already come for the first time in March 2014 for a signing session of his book “Don’t forget the birds” published by Julliard. It is therefore a regular visitor to the city of hats that Murielle Magellan returned a third time, welcomed by Nathalie Mahieu from the Livres & Cie bookstore, this time with two hats, that of a writer for her latest book “Fantasy” whose dedication took place in an unusual place, namely the Caverne de Penne. Coming out of a cruel and long depression where she almost lost everything she loves, Mona tries to rebuild herself by moving into a tiny apartment in a tower in the suburbs. The steps of the staircase leading to the loft bed are cleverly fitted out as storage lockers, but one of them is sealed. Then that of director of the film “La page blanche” with Sara Giraudeau in the role of Éloïse, Pierre Deladonchamps, Grégoire Ludig; a free adaptation of the comic strip by Boulet and Pénélope Bagieu published by Delcourt. The synopsis: Éloïse finds herself sitting alone on a Parisian bench. Who is she? What is she doing there? She doesn’t remember anything! She then launches into an investigation, full of surprises, to discover who she is. After a quick presentation by the cinema manager Enzo Goudal followed by the screening of the film, Murielle engaged in a real dialogue with the spectators present, in all simplicity, recounting all the obstacles and hazards but also all the wonderful encounters and encouragement that allowed her to succeed in her business as a director.

Murielle Magellan is a writer, screenwriter, playwright, songwriter and director. After training in singing (Studio des Variétés), acting (Ecole du théâtre national de Chaillot), and university (master’s degree in Modern Literature), she devoted herself to writing in its various forms, and to directing live performance stage.
