After their victory at 4^e round of the Coupe de France last weekend against Seudre-Océan (finally confirmed and not transformed into a defeat on the green carpet), the Girondins de Bordeaux finally tasted victory in the championship, on the occasion of the 7^e day of National 2.

On the Saumur pitch, Bruno Irles’ men won 2-1 thanks to a double header from the unique Andy Carroll. Already a double scorer against Châteaubriant on September 21, the former Liverpool striker scored twice to knock out the locals and offer success to his team, after three draws and a defeat.

With two games late on the clock, the Bordelais are now 14^es out of 16.
