Demonstration of firefighters, workshops and theater to discuss the risk of flooding, in Belleville-sur-

The Wet Feet, Funny Ideas event, intended to raise awareness of flood risks, will take place this Saturday, October 5, in Belleville-sur-, for the general public.

After two first days dedicated to schools, the Wet Feet, Funny Ideas event will open its doors to the public tomorrow, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The village will be held this year at the Belleville-sur-Loire village hall. An edition produced with the Maison de Loire du Cher and supported by the municipality with the support of the State and the numerous project partners.

What are the climate risks that weigh on the inhabitants of Center-Val de Loire?

This prevention village is part of the PAPI (Flood Prevention Action Plan). It responds to the information and awareness needs of local authorities on issues related to floods and droughts.

More than fifteen workshops

Numerous workshops and highlights are on the program, to learn how to better deal with the problems exacerbated by climate change. Escape game, models, experiments… More than fifteen workshops will be available to discover. At 10:30 a.m., the firefighters will give a life-size demonstration.

At noon, a food truck will be there to fill stomachs and the afternoon will resume in style, at 2 p.m. with the show La Loire dans ton corridor, a creation by Cie L’Intruse, from Loir-et-Cher. A participatory and humorous moment to address flood risk, prevention and reactions.
