The media in Greece summed up PAOK’s failure with FCSB in the Europa League in ONE word and named man of the match

FCSB achieved their second win in the Europa League. The band of Elias Charalambous (44 years old) is in 4th place in the group. Next up is the away duel with Rangers, on October 24.

Greek press, after PAOK – FCSB 0-1: “Disappointing”

Those from sportal.gr described the failure of Răzvan Lucescu’s (55-year-old) team in one word: “Disappointing!”, captioned the Greek journalists.

Then they continued: “PAOK lost at Toumba Stadium against Stella (no – FCSB), who played with one man less.

“PAOK continue their poor results and inefficient performances. We failed to capitalize on our numerical superiority and suffered a painful defeat. The Romanians played with one less man from the 55th minute, after the elimination of Darius Olaru.

Târnovanu rejected spectacularly on our occasions. In the end, PAOK forced an equaliser, and the guests threw themselves on the pitch many times to kill time. The Romanian goalkeeper played an excellent match, managing to block the great opportunities of PAOK’s players and received the unofficial “man of the match” award.

The truth is that the only PAOK player who had an acceptable performance was Ozdoev.
