LUnion Saint-Gilloise failed to find the fault against Bodo/Glimt (0-0), in the match of the 2nd day of the Europa League, Thursday at the Roi Baudouin stadium. The two clubs created a number of clear chances without being able to conclude, and parted back to back at the end of regulation time.
The Unionists went into the match with good intentions, which allowed Ousseynou Niang and Kevin Rodriguez to alert the Norwegian defense in the first 10 minutes. While Franjo Ivanovic missed the target with a powerful header (19th), former Standard Bruges player Philipp Zinckernagel was particularly lively for Bodo/Glimt. The Dane benefited from a four-star opportunity, but he failed to head the ball when he was alone within six meters (36th).

The Unionists won their first point in the competition, having been beaten by Fenerbahçe (2-1) on the first day.
