A traffic accident occurred this Thursday, October 3 in the Ventenac sector where a school bus providing the link between the villages of Minervois and the high schools of Narbonne ended up in a ditch. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Big scare this Thursday, October 3 around 7:30 a.m. for around thirty high school students who were heading towards their schools in Narbonne when a traffic accident occurred between the communes of Ventenac and Ginestas on the D26 departmental road halfway of the two villages.

The bus carrying the students ended up in a ditch. Fortunately, no children were injured in the accident. Parents were called to come pick them up while another bus was quickly chartered to pick up the high school students.
While the bus was traveling on the D26 towards Ginestas, a car, traveling at high speed in the opposite direction, would have forced the driver to make a maneuver to avoid it by biting onto the shoulder. It was then that the shoulder collapsed and the bus found itself overturned in the ditch.
