A gathering this Saturday at Le Mans

A “support” demonstration was organized in Paris on Sunday September 29.

A week after the young woman’s funeral, new gatherings are still planned. One of them will take place at Mansthis Saturday October 5, 2024.

The “Justice and Security Collective” called for a demonstration at 2 p.m. at Place Aristide Briand, in front of the prefecture, saying “stop the massacre of the French”.

Another “anti-racist and anti-patriarchal” demonstration

At the same time, 700 meters away, a counter-demonstration will be held this Saturday, October 5, at Place du Jet d’eau (in front of the cathedral).

The action, presented as “anti-racist and anti-patriarchal”, is carried out by the Anti-Fascist General Assembly of Sarthe, Feminist Collages Le Mans, Anti-Fascist Collective of Sarthe, and the National Confederation of Labor ( CNT).

Its members are mobilizing “against the far right and its racist recovery of the death of Philippine” but also “against sexist and sexual violence and feminicides”.

HAS Angers (Maine-et-Loire), two rallies also took place on Monday September 30: one bringing together identitarians, the other anti-fascists.
