After the success of Carmen, which brought together more than 60,000 spectators last season, the Rouen Normandy Opera is renewing the operation “Let’s experience opera together, throughout Normandy!”, this time with Aïda, the famous opera by Verdi.
This Saturday, October 5, from 6 p.m., the Rouen Normandy Opera will perform this masterpiece of classical music and will be broadcast simultaneously at Rouen Cathedral, in Caen, in Le Havre, as well as in around thirty places in Normandy .
France 3 Normandie is joining this initiative and offering you the opportunity to follow this exceptional concert live on our site and the France.tv platform.
Under the musical direction of Pierre Bleuse and direction by Philipp Himmelmann, Aïda traces her path in a quest for love and truth, thwarted by the armed conflict between two peoples. A drama that resonates particularly deeply.
