A 25-year-old Chinese-born man was found dead on Tuesday in an apartment in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, confirms the Paris prosecutor’s office contacted by France Bleu Paris. According to information from franceinfo, the police intervened at the beginning of the afternoon Tuesday around 2:30 p.m. in the flat. They were called by the owner who wanted to carry out work in the apartment. Her tenant was unresponsive, she eventually entered with some workers and discovered the dead body of the tenant.
The investigators of the criminal brigade who moved on the spot found that the victim was lying on his stomach on his bed, with his feet and hands tied with clamps. The man showed signs of strangulation. He also had duct tape over his mouth.
