A fire broke out in an annex to the boilermaking company TMFCT, in Vernouillet, this Tuesday, October 1, 2024. The firefighters extinguished the fire using two hoses and no casualties were reported.
26 firefighters from the Dreux, Saint-Rémy-sur-Avre and Chartres emergency centers intervened this Tuesday, October 1, following a fire in an annex belonging to the TMFCT company. Located in Vernouillet, this boilermaker specializes in the sector of repair of mechanical machines and equipment.
Six machines were engaged on the scene.
The Drostub company evacuated for an hour
According to the final report from the Eure-et-Loir Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis 28), the fire broke out in a 50m² room containing five tanks of unimpacted chemicals.
Five employees of the Drostub company, specializing in the manufacture of plastic plates, sheets, tubes and profiles, were evacuated for an hour.
The fire was extinguished using two hoses and there were no casualties.
