In its 4 p.m. bulletin, Météo-France reported that “a rainy disturbance concerns the center-east of the country until Wednesday morning, in particular from the Northern Alps to Franche-Comté”.

“In this last area, the expected rainfall accumulations justify yellow rain-flood vigilance. However, it is important to keep informed of developments in the situation,” added the metrological service.

Météo-France also considers that “given the state of saturation of the soil, it is not excluded that very localized phenomena (such as mudslides for example) may appear in the Alpine departments.”
