Kidney disease screening day at La Preste thermal baths

The thermal structure is joining forces with the reins association and the Charles Mion-Aider santé foundation to organize this completely free day, open to all.

The figures speak for themselves: 7 to 10% of the French adult population have kidney disease, or nearly 3 million people. Renowned for metabolism and rheumatology, the thermal baths of La Preste (Chaîne thermale du Soleil) are also recognized for uro-nephrological pathologies, i.e. recurrent urinary infections (cystitis, pyelonephritis, prostatitis), prostatic hypertrophies (not falling under surgery), as well as recurrent renal colic (except for surgical indications). Each year, more than 3,000 spa guests receive approved treatment and several hundred free treatment (without medical prescription) to treat conditions of the urinary system. This is why the thermal structure located at the top of Vallespir joins forces with the France reins Occitanie association and the Charles Mion-Aider santé foundation by offering Wednesday October 2, a kidney disease screening day.
