Brissac--Aubance. A day through the new town for over 60s

The Brissac Aubance Municipal Social Action Center had planned a day for those over 60, Friday September 13. In the morning in Chemellier and in the afternoon in Les Alleuds, forty people participated.

After coffee at the La Concorde company. Marc and Véronique Butruelle welcomed the over 60s to the Presbi’Terre garden where many groups or individuals come to learn about permaculture.

A stop at the church allowed Michel Vaissier, one of the local historians, to tell the history of the building but especially of Henri Bourriche, the local sculptor who donated the cross path to the town. Lunch was served at the La Concorde company. Jean Baptiste Belin, author of a book on Chemellier, recounted the history of the town.

In the afternoon, the participants went to Les Alleuds to visit the Danish company DLF which creates varieties of grass.
