Montrabé Académie Sports organized a cohesion and season inauguration day on Saturday September 21 at the Stade Bastié in Montrabé. The U11s hosted Rangueil, Fenouillet and Ramonville Coteaux.
Around 180 people attended for a moment of sharing around a barbecue to celebrate the club’s first home event. Among those present, Mr. Serge Palustran, elected representative from Montrabé, in charge of Community Life.
A sunny day accompanied the young players who put on a football spectacle, full of passion, fair play and determination.
Despite the two defeats for the Montrabians, 0-1 against Rangueil and 1-2 against Fenouillet, what we can remember from the day is the combativeness and team spirit of the players of the local team, who never gave up, with a well-structured collective game, individuals who stood out and an impeccable state of mind.
This U11 meeting was a magnificent example of the talent and commitment of the young players from all four teams. With a well-structured collective game, individuals who stood out and an impeccable state of mind, they showed that they had great promise for the future.
The supporters present, parents and friends of the players, also played their role by enthusiastically supporting their teams while respecting the sportsmanship.
Beyond the score, it was above all the love of football that triumphed that day.
This day of cohesion ended with small intergenerational tournaments which showed the technical and physical superiority of the new generation.
The Montrabé Académie Sports has, to date, more than 100 members.
