And that of Rouen? “Maybe the 10th. » In the meantime, Barbara Van den Brink ran the semi for the first time. “The course was very good, we passed by the Zénith, the racecourse, the Bruyères park, the botanical garden, there is a good atmosphere. » “I started to suffer on the last five kilometers”she analyzes. She continues: “We inevitably get older, I told myself 2 hours, I did it in 1 hour 58 minutes.” Barbara Van den Brink runs two to three times a week and wanted to take part in this race, but “There were no more bibs very very early on, so if I hadn’t had the bib from the Paris Normandy draw I wouldn’t have been able to run. I don’t know if it’s the Olympics effect, but in all the classes there are a lot of people. So thank you Paris-Normandy! »she says.

Carola Delaunay came from the Le Havre sector to participate in the Rouen half-marathon. “I run three times a week, usually with a friend and I have already done 2 hours 20 minutes over 20 km, so there is a bit of excitement, pressure…”she explains in the middle of the procession of runners waiting to leave. “I signed up for the Paris Normandy draw, just like that, on a whim, I saw it on Facebook”she says 2 hours 06 later. “It was really well organized, everything is easy, the supplies are well done, the atmosphere is nice, the visit to the Jardin des Plantes is great”judges the one who is a buyer for a private sales company. She did this race to music with headphones: “it boosts well”. As for the next one, it will be in Germany: “I saw and as we go there, this is the opportunity…”

The second part was simpler with more descents. There was a good atmosphere with lots of people running and supporting the runners. It’s nice and it helps when things start to get hard”judges the one who runs four to five times a week.
