The 3rd day of R1 ended on Saturday evening (September 28). The Colonial Club, which hosted RC Saint-Joseph at the Diamant stadium, won the match. Despite the determination of the players, this very physical meeting ended in a goalless draw of 0-0.
The oldest Club, which recovered three of its starters, put an end to a series of defeats both in the league and in the Coupe de France.
We are playing on terrain that we do not know. It’s a very good RC Saint-Joseph team. For us, we had to stop this spiral of defeats. We train a lot. Now, we hope to recover a few more players to give a better face to the Colonial Club. We have injured people, suspended people. (…) We must continue to work. We’ll see what happens, hoping for better days.
