Memories and an exhibition to share

The creator Anaïs Renversade led workshops and photo sessions for more than a year as part of the itinerant education service of Sud-Hérault. She also worked on the scenography, the creation of educational kits and the decor of the workshop modules.

The seventeen municipalities of the Sud-Hérault community of municipalities were able to benefit from the system which was completed in Creissan this summer. More than 150 people responded to the call for the photo casting, an original photographic collection project on its territory.

Accompanied by her professional photographer father, Anaïs set up a traveling studio and used a film camera from the Hasselblad brand known in particular for having taken the first photos of the astronauts on the moon in 1969. The entire process was carried out in-house, from the development shooting. Anaïs invited the public to pose with a toy or object from their childhood. She was thus able to collect a representative sample of the territory and capture a moment of life on film.

From this work was born an exhibition inaugurated on Sunday September 22 at the Capestang tourist office as part of the European Heritage Days. The large public was able to discover this remarkable project which is also taking place on the Camin’arts greenway.

The exhibitions are on view until the end of the year. More information on the website www.cc-sud-herault.fr
