A fire broke out in a residential house in Janzé, near Rennes, on the night of Friday September 27 to Saturday September 28, 2024. According to firefighters, an electric meter fire was the cause of the disaster. A woman was evacuated to the Pontchaillou university hospital center after inhaling smoke.

A fire broke out around 1 a.m. in a residential house in Janzé (Ille-et-Vilaine) on the night of Friday September 27 to Saturday September 28, 2024 at 15, rue des alouettes. According to firefighters, an electric meter fire was the cause of the disaster. The flames then spread “spread in the attic and the roof”, indicates the Ille-et-Vilaine departmental fire and rescue operational center.
