Saturday September 28, 2024, two road accidents occurred around 4:30 p.m. on the RN106 and the RN88. A total of five people were injured, including one transported by the Dragon 34 to Montpellier.
Around 4:30 p.m. this Saturday, on the RN106, commune of Saint-Privat-de-Vallongue, a 28-year-old motorcyclist fell. He would be the only one involved in the accident. The Collet-de-Dèze firefighters, called, intervened to help him. Given the seriousness of the injuries, they called on the Dragon 34 helicopter. The victim was evacuated to the Lapeyronie hospital in Montpellier.

Still around 4:30 p.m., on the RN 88 at the Col de la Pierre-Plantée, two vehicles were involved in a road accident. Firefighters from Châteauneuf-de-Randon, Langogne, Bleymard, Rieutort-de-Randon as well as a Samu unit intervened. Four injuries were reported, including one seriously injured, a 78-year-old man. The other victims were less seriously affected, all were transported to the Mende hospital center.
