Hurricane Helene leaves at least 33 dead, more than 2 million people without power

DISASTER – Hurricane Helene was downgraded to a tropical storm this Friday. But its passage caused a lot of damage, particularly in Florida, North Carolina and Georgia.

Hurricane Helene, which became a tropical storm, devastated the southeastern United States. The death toll rose further with the deaths of at least 33 people, also leaving millions of Americans without electricity. Strong winds and heavy rains triggered flash floods, falling trees and massive flooding, particularly in Florida with water levels rising more than 4.5 meters.
