. Two gold medals for the Okyame disabled dance section. Sport

Founded in 2007, Okyame aims to promote African cultures, and more particularly those of Ivory Coast, through activities such as dance, theater, storytelling and cooking. The Mancelle association also defends women’s rights and the fight against physical discrimination.

In 2012, Okyame set up dance classes for people with disabilities. In June 2024, ten disabled dancers took part in the Avio Academy’s national Handidanse competition. The group received two gold medals and a trophy for their artistic performance. The awards ceremony took place Thursday September 26, 2024 at the Saulnières dance hall, in , in the presence of local elected officials.
