Farès Chaïbi receives one million euros in Frankfurt

Farès Chaïbi joined Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023 from FC for an amount of 16 million euros.

Since this departure to Germany, the young Algerian international has tried to establish himself in the German club where he is in the sixth and penultimate group of players best paid by Eintracht Frankfurt.

The German daily Bild revealed, on Tuesday September 24, the salaries of the players of the German Bundesliga club, including that of the young 21-year-old Franco-Algerian attacking midfielder who receives one million euros per year. With his salary, the Algerian international is in the sixth group of the most paid players at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Farès Chaïbi is not one of the highest paid players in Frankfurt

The first group is made up of three players, all Germans, whose salary is 3.5 million euros per year. They are goalkeeper Kevin Trapp, attacker Mario Götze and defender Robin Cock.

The second group is made up of players who earn three million euros per year, including Tunisian international Ellyes Skhiri. The sixth group, which includes Farès Chaïbi, includes five players who receive one million euros per year. The seventh and final group brings together players whose annual salary is 500,000 euros.

Three Arab internationals play at Eintracht Frankfurt. These are:

  • Ellyes Skhiri (Tunisia): three million euros per year (2nd group)
  • Omar Mermouche (Egypt): 2.5 million euros per year (3rd group)
  • Farès Chaïbi (Algeria): one million euros per year (6th group)

Farès Chaïbi played 28 matches last season with his new club and scored two goals. This season, he started twice after four days of the Bundesliga where Frankfurt won three matches and lost only once against Dortmund.

With the Algerian team, he has 14 caps. He has not been called up by Vladimir Petković since last March.
