After the stormsit is now the Aitor storm which threatens part of France, this Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

The Sarthe is one of the departments placed in vigilance jaune “rain and flood”, dès 14 h.

Météo-France announces “heavy rain this Wednesday along the Vendée/Ardennes axis”.
After a morning that was already rainy in Sarthe, the precipitation is expected to intensify at the end of the day.

Strong gusts of wind

Contrary to Indre-et-Loire or to Loir-et-Cherthe wind alert does not concern Sarthe at this time.

Nevertheless, Météo-France predicts strong gusts who could blow up to 45 km/h in the afternoon and up to 50 to 55 km/h maximum in the evening. Forecasts revised slightly downwards since the day before.

Consequence of these bad weather conditions: Mansthe day’s activities planned outdoors, for the festival Forever Young, have been cancelled or relocated indoors.

Sarthe will still be placed in yellow alertThursday, September 26, because of the storms this time: from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

From the rain is still announced as well as vents fortswith gusts up to 55 km/h in the afternoon and until 60 to 70 km/h in the evening.
