Second defeat of the season for Guingamp who fell in Paris (0-2) this Tuesday evening during the 6th day of Ligue 2. After the meeting, the coach Sylvain Ripoll was unhappy at a press conference with the content proposed by his team and the face displayed by his group on the move in the capital.

“It’s a very unpleasant feeling. A mixture of incomprehension and a bit of anger, of course. We were lacking in all areas of the game. We didn’t recognize the team that had been able to do interesting things. When you go about it like that, you don’t exist. We have no regrets about the result because it couldn’t have been anything else given the content. There is a lot of dissatisfaction with the performance provided. We wanted to start well, to play a good match, but we didn’t see any of that. The goal conceded came very early. There wasn’t enough rhythm on the offensive and defensive levels. We had to be incisive and sharp, we had to be clearer on the technical level and in terms of speed. It was so mono-rhythm that we didn’t risk bothering many people. There are too many things missing, in fact, in all the parameters of the game and it really bothers me. Creativity is linked to movement and occupying space with technical accuracy. And we almost missed these three criteria, at least two. We were never able to create any danger, it was too little. To get things going, you must not make mistakes on the first restarts. We made so many mistakes that we were unable to set up anything. The opponent played a good game and we played a bad game. Now, things are clear: we will have to present another copy on Monday to try to obtain a positive result. It is unpleasant to be in reaction, we would have done better to act.
