Ligue 1: OL – OM, best attendance of the 5th day

The supporters group, the Bad Gones.

With more than 50,000 spectators, the match between OL and OM was the one that attracted the largest number of supporters during the 5th day of Ligue 1.

It won’t change the result, but Olympique Lyonnais at least won something last weekend. On Sunday night, for the duel against OM, 53,928 spectators went to the stadium to witness the stunning 3-2 victory of Roberto’s men From Zerbi against OL. It is much more the second attendance of the 5th day of Ligue 1 ( counted 39,516 people in the public).

The Décines stadium was not full for this game, which can be explained both by the fairly high ticket prices, even though the club had justified its choice, and by the absence of fans. The latter were banned from traveling. However, this did not prevent some of them from blending into the Rhone stands. A situation that caused disturbances during Marseille’s goals.

Duje’s teammates Caleta-Car will have the opportunity to make up for it a little on Thursday when they host Olympiakos for the first day of the Europa League classification phase. Here too, the Parc OL will not be full, and could even ring hollow. Indeed, a maximum of 27,000 supporters will be able to take their seats in the Grand Stade. The reason? A punishment inflicted by UEFA on the two North and South bends dating back to 2022 and which Olympique Lyonnais will serve two and a half years later.
