Since 1997, the Biennale de la jeune création has established itself as a springboard for young visual artists. By giving them carte blanche, it allows them to experiment, innovate and make their work known to the general public. This year, eight artists were selected by a jury of experts to present their most recent works.

Georges Juliette Ayrault, Johanna Cartier, Diane Cescutti, Héloïse Farago, Elouan Le Bars, Matthias Odin, Fanny Souade Sow and Eugénie Zély: these names, still unknown to the general public, could well become those of the artists of tomorrow. Their works, specially designed for the occasion, promise to surprise and question.

The Biennale is also a place for meetings and exchanges. Artists, curators and the public are invited to discuss the works. Guided tours, workshops and conferences are organized throughout the event. At the end of the biennale, a jury will select a winner who will benefit from a solo exhibition at La Graineterie the following year.
