Bruno Retailleau Minister of the Interior: his very first job will surprise you!

Two weeks after being appointed Prime Minister by the President of the Republic on September 5, Michel Barnier finally formed his government this Saturday, September 21. After a few adjustments, the new head of government appointed Les Républicains (LR) senator Bruno Retailleau to the post of Minister of the Interior, replacing Gérald Darmanin. But before entering the political world, the man who was first appointed as a deputy in 1994, was a volunteer rider at the Puy du Fou park at the age of 16, according to information from TF1 Info.

At the time, he was very close to Philippe de Villiers, the creator of the amusement park located in the town of Les Epesses, in Vendée. Bruno Retailleau was even entrusted with the staging of the Cinéscénie, the park’s legendary night show. He also chaired the company that manages the leisure complex before being removed from the organization of Puy du Fou at the end of 2009 after falling out with Philippe de Villiers since the latter “did not want to call for a vote for Sarkozy between the two rounds of the presidential election” in 2007.
